Its great to be able to approach the fishmongers with confidence and
base your menu around the freshest fish available on the day!

Like the idea of catching and cooking fish?

Catch and cook is more than just a fish cookery course, the freshest fish you ever find will always be the one you catch your self or find in a fishmonger that sources sustainable wild locally caught fish and shellfish.

This course is split into two halves. The first being fishing part with full instruction on the charter  fishing boat at sea, rods reels, tackle and bait will be supplied. comprehensive instruction will  include, what tackle to use and how different baits are suitable for a diverse group of fish and shellfish.

The second half of the day will focus on the preparation and cooking. Simple delicious dishes will be easily created for you to enjoy and feast upon. We currently use a purpose built demonstration kitchen in the old dairy at Trill Farm, a working organic farm and sustainable skills centre.

Hi Fraser and Tom,
Just note to thank you again for a great day. It would have been nice to have caught some fish but heh! you can't expect you team to score goals either!!
I have seen many a cooking demo in my line of work and I can say that you create a very relaxed atmosphere but at the same time impart a great deal of useful knowledge and tips. You didn't complicate things and I would definitely suggest you stick to this simple approach.
Best regards for the future,
